Condolences
What I remember most about Grandma are the travels we had together as a family. I remember parking the motor homes in a U-shape and being able to go back and forth between them all day long. I remember one time that I spent alone time with Grandma in their motor home for a few days and she treated me like a princess, brought me blankets and tried to feed me all day long.
Some of my fondest memories are of the two of them, Grandma and Grandpa, usually singing together while my Mom played the piano - every holiday for sure, but really any occasion was a time for singing in our family.
Grandpa used to talk about Grandma all the time, how he remembered her rollerskating and thought she was so pretty. He always had good things to say about her and their relationship displayed respect for each other over the long haul. Their love was evident to anyone who was around them and I know it broke Grandma's heart to have lost the love of her lifetime.
Grandma was also an independent woman and I remember her painting in her back room, using boxes and boxes of photos she had taken as reference and putting them together to create new images. I remember once she told me about the colors she used and how she mixed them. It all seemed very complicated at the time and I admired her for her artistic abilities.
Holidays and family trips don't feel the same without them, but I appreciate all of the years we had together.
Rest in peace Grandma. I hope you and Grandpa are united together in Heaven.
Grandma you will be greatly missed . You were such a beautiful person inside and out and I feel so blessed we got to share so many special memories with you. From being a little girl, I remember being at your house running on your property, eating frozen peaches at your dining table and discussing life. You and grandpa always took interest in what was happening in all our lives and always complemented us on our successes . I remember writing you thank you notes for birthdays and Christmas and getting so excited when you and grandpa noticed little things like how good my handwriting was ! Such important things to a little person. Memories of sitting in your motorhome watching the elk go by in the meadow in Jackson Whole will always bring me happiness . Easter egg hunts at Lake Havasu and riding on your pontoon boat . So many beautiful memories . Thank you for teaching us all to be good people and how to love each other as you did. May you Rest In Peace and know you will never be forgotten . Love Sheri and Eric and your great grandkids Audriana and Emilie
