Obituary of Kimberly K. Glisson

Kimberly K. Glisson was called to her heavenly home on January 29, 2021. Kim was a caring, loving wife to her husband David and a devoted mother to her children Jon, Michael, and Mykayla. Kim was a kind and giving grandmother to her three granddaughters Haylee, Kylee, and Paislee. Kim was a loving sibling to her sister Sharon and her brothers David and Dan. She joins her mother Loretta and father David in heaven. She was a fantastic friend to many and touched so many lives. Kim was kind and soft-spoken, energetic, and compassionate, which made her a perfect fit for her role as a teacher's aide. She loved working with the children throughout her years at Newark Unified School district; she spoke fondly of them often. Kim loved to exercise, play softball, listening to music, and walking the many lakes where she lived. She was a devoted Christian and held tightly to her faith. She spent many hours reading her bible, and that was where she found her strength in tough times. She trusted the lord's plan, and while her loved ones dearly miss her, we take comfort in the fact that she is at peace with her creator. Kim was buried at the Upper Lake Cemetery at 12:00pm on February 20, 2021. Condolences and memories are gladly accepted.
