Betty Lee Saderlund
Betty Lee Saderlund passed away May 1, 2021 at the age of 92. She was born in Nebraska on September 13, 1928 to Vernon and Inez Butterfield. When Betty was a young girl, her family moved to Southern California. She graduated from Ventura High School. Betty moved to Lake County in 1965. She spent most of her career working office jobs. Betty enjoyed tole painting, quilting, bowling and family. She was a member of the Kelseyville Lioness and American Legion Auxiliary. Betty was a kind and loving wife, mother, stepmother and Nana.
Betty leaves behind four stepchildren, Floyd Jr. “Skip” (Mariani) Saderlund, Kenneth “Ken” Saderlund, Marilyn Saderlund and Susan “Tami” Saderlund as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Floyd; children, Diane Watson and Robert Watson; and stepdaughter, Linda Rice.
Graveside Service will be held at Kelseyville Cemetery on Monday May 24th at 1:00 pm. Donations may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary, PO Box 682, Kelseyville, CA 95451.
