Obituary of Frawnna Thurman

Our beloved Frawnna was born in Lakeport and after graduating Clearlake High, she made her home in Lakeport. Frawnna was as kind as she was beautiful. Most of her life was spent helping others. She was a foster mother to more than 75 children. She created Rescue Safari and re-homed more than 200 cats and dogs from our local shelters. An artist at heart, she loved to sing, paint, and even weld. Frawnna was also a licensed hypnotherapist. She will be deeply missed by her family. Parents, Elizabeth and Donald Kaneshige, Lakeport and Larry Slaybaugh, Sacramento; sister, Sabrina Bounsall, niece and nephew, Zena and Logan Bounsall, Calistoga and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
