aug. 6 1936, the most amazing man was born. may. 1 1999 i met that man for the first time. and for 24 long years i cherished that man. oct. 1st 2020 i was able to give him his FIRST great great grandson. may 9th 2023 HE MET his NAMESAKE (he never had a son, i promised him he could count on me for keeping his name alive.. i kept my word.) on oct. 2 2023 i got a phone call at work for a pick up from a mortuary. it was you. and my heart was broken. feb. 28 2024 i (we) laid you to rest. right now, all i want is you.

I wrote a few times to you already.. but I wanted to thank you. I have a heavy feeling my heart you had something to do with protecting me 11/25/2023 at 8:15pm when I was struck by a car and rolled 4 times. I wasn’t wear a seat belt and all I walked away with were some bruises. You always kept an eye out for me, I know you’re still doing it. I love you so much and miss you so much more. Thank you for being with me that night and allowing me to go home to my children. Without you, who knows how bad it could’ve truly been.

24 years was not enough time. I will love you forever, and miss you for always.
