Junebug, thank you for being my little big brother… i’ll never forget the first day of freshman year walking out of math class into the quad and there you and Garret were standing with the biggest smiles on your face ready to flip me upside down and make your way to the garbage can, as I was screaming trying to get out of it! Or when there was a threat to the school and you and Adri said “your coming home with us, it’s okay you won’t get in trouble”, I can say I never felt so confident that my parents wouldn’t “be mad” that I ditched school because I was always safe with you two. #LLJ

You are on my mind everyday. I carry your celebration of life flyer in my truck so I can See your smiling face, and pray that you’re watching over me wherever I go. The last time I saw you, you guys were just moving out of your house, and you pulled up, exhausted, but still smiling and said you were so happy it all worked out and you were so excited to go on with your new property. I’ll never forget that day.

All I can Think about is your big plans and dreams of buying or building your family dream home. We’re still supposed to go look at that house you know…

I’ve never met anyone more dedicated with a drive like yours, the ambition, putting yourself out there to make things happen. The love you had for your family, the relationship you had with your parents, all of the things I can only wish will be as strong with my own son. You never carried anything with you other than love and happiness, your smile radiated through everything you’d did, and still does.

It’s not the same without seeing you around, and I miss It so much. I’m so honored to have been apart of your life and to have watched you grow into the amazing man you were. I’ll never know why you had to go, but man you taught me so much in leaving. Love you June

I would have sat and talked more with him, I would have took 100 more pictures with him and I would have had a family reunion right then and there.

I’m not good with words but I care for everyone in our family so much even if I’m bad at showing them, we always need more time once time has run out..

Q: What will you never forget about Jose?

A: Wiley & I will never forget how good of a friend & person he was to us. He was always a text or phone call away when we needed him, which was more often than we’d like to admit. He always cared for Wiley and how we were doing, always looking out for our wellbeing. I’m forever thankful for the memories and laughs we all shared together. We are honored to have been apart of just one of his biggest days, which was their wedding. I’m thankful him & Emily were also apart of ours. Those memories will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Junior will forever be remembered. ❤️

Q: What will you never forget about Jose?

A: One thing I will never forget about Junebug is his courageous smile. No matter if it was watching someone pin someone else in wrestling or him running away from me in a motel parking lot in Lakeport saying “Dirt can’t catch me.” This is a memory I will never forget about him! I hated the name dirt but he found a way to make me smile!
