I love these photos of our Aunt Linda and I was always enamored by her smile and that way about her that just made you feel welcomed. When I started my career in management and customer service I was a youthful know it all...you know you get there and think I’ve reached that plateau I know what I know. I was at grandmas having dinner and Aunt Linda had stopped by as she often did. She listened to my ranting and raving of a bad day I was having with a customer. She listened and waited patiently for my rant to stop. Then she looked over at me with that smile and said “you love what you do? You love being a manager? Then you realize those customers are the most important people at that moment, you figure that out because you love what you do.” She had set me straight on my way to what has been 33 plus years of management that is in my blood. There are women in our lives that shape us, she was one of them and another is the lady in this picture beside her, Grandma. I shared that story with her years ago in the Bay when she stopped in to shop at one of my stores. The people in our lives and the people we meet are markers for this journey we call life. We have family and friends we choose to be our family and those we never forget while on this path. Here are just a few pictures of the lady we love and adore. Rest In Peace Auntie Linda
